Violence has declined considerably. This much is a fact. In this book, Pinker goes over reasons why he believes this has happened.

In Better Angels Pinker takes us on a journey through time, telling the story of a species that slowly came to learn a valuable lesson - that we shouldn't kill one another.

A truly uplifting read.
